Pediatric psychiatry here is still psychiatric care: evaluation, a plan you understand, and follow-up. Kimberly, Marianne, and Kristin will ask enough to treat safely—history, sleep, mood, attention, other medical care, and what has already been tried—while leaving room for the child or teen to be part of the conversation at a pace that fits.
Medication can be an important tool for some young people. It is never the only thing we consider. We also talk about sleep, school demands, substance use when it is relevant, and whether supplements a family is already using might interact with a prescription. Therapy referrals are common; a prescriber and a therapist often work best as a pair.
The clinic sees patients ages 6 and up: children age 6+, adolescents, and adults. This page is for families looking for pediatric and adolescent care. Adult-focused condition and pathway pages are listed on our conditions hub.
